Embed DesignHuddle Into Your Platform, Properly
DesignHuddle integrations that embed the design editor inside your own platform, connect it to your CMS, WooCommerce store or print workflow, and carry finished artwork through to export and fulfilment. Built by UK developers who know the API, and made for production from day one.
Embedded Editor in Your Platform
We integrate the DesignHuddle JavaScript SDK so the design editor loads inside your own interface, under your branding, with no visible connection to DesignHuddle.
Template Management via API
Create, clone, update, and organise templates programmatically. Control which users see which templates and keep your template library in sync with your product catalogue.
Automated Export and Fulfilment
Completed designs trigger automated export jobs via the API, producing print-ready PDFs or high-resolution PNGs that feed directly into your order or production workflow.
User and Account Provisioning
When a new customer or staff member joins your platform, we provision them in DesignHuddle automatically with the right templates, brand kit, and permissions.
WooCommerce Product Personalisation
Add a DesignHuddle editor to your WooCommerce product pages so customers design their own items. Artwork exports automatically and attaches to the order for fulfilment.
Brand Kit and Asset Management
Push approved fonts, colours, and logos to user accounts via the API so all designs start from on-brand foundations while still allowing personalisation within your defined limits.

How a DesignHuddle Integration Works With Us
We learn how you want to use DesignHuddle
We start with a short call to understand where the editor needs to live, who uses it, and what should happen to a design once it is finished. No jargon and no commitment, just a clear read on what the DesignHuddle API supports and roughly what your build would involve.
We map the integration and quote
We map the pieces that matter: how the editor embeds, how templates and users stay in sync, and how exports reach your order or production workflow. You get a fixed-price proposal with a clear scope and timeline, so there are no surprises once we start building.
We build and test against the real API
We build against the live DesignHuddle API in a staging environment, so we hit the same tokens, export jobs and rate limits you will see in production. We test the editor, template management, provisioning and export with real designs, and document what we build as we go.
We launch it and keep it running
We deploy with monitoring in place, so you know if an export or provisioning step ever stops flowing. You get full documentation and optional ongoing support for when DesignHuddle updates the API, so the integration keeps working without you having to think about it.

Tell us how you want to use the editor and where finished designs need to go, and we will come back with a fixed quote and a realistic timeline, usually within 24 hours. NDA first, no obligation.

DesignHuddle Integration FAQs
DesignHuddle Integration Services for Platforms and Online Stores
If you are looking at a DesignHuddle project, the questions that matter are usually the same: how deeply can the editor be embedded, how do templates and users stay in sync with your own system, and what happens to a design once someone clicks save. Here is how we handle all three.
What a DesignHuddle integration actually involves
DesignHuddle is a design and video creation platform that runs inside your product rather than as a destination of its own. It ships an editor, a templating system and a full API, but none of that connects itself to your CMS, your store or your fulfilment process. That connective work is the integration, and it is where the value lives.
Done properly, a customer or staff member never knows DesignHuddle is there. They open an editor that looks like part of your platform, work from templates you control, and hit save, and behind that a chain of API calls provisions the account, applies the right brand kit and pushes a print-ready file to wherever it needs to go.
We treat this as production software, not a demo. It has to hold up when real users hit it, and keep working after everyone has forgotten how it was wired together.
Embedding the editor with the JavaScript SDK
The editor loads through DesignHuddle's JavaScript SDK, which we mount inside your own interface so it inherits your layout, navigation and styling. There is no redirect to a third-party site and no visible branding that says the design is happening somewhere else.
Authentication is handled server side using project and template tokens, so the browser never sees your API credentials. We set up the session, pass in the right template or design, and listen for the SDK's events so your platform knows when a design has been opened, edited and completed.
This is the part clients underestimate. Making the editor feel native, sizing and theming it correctly, and handling the save and export events cleanly is what separates an embed that feels bolted on from one that feels like a feature you built yourself.
Managing templates through the API
Most DesignHuddle projects start with a handful of templates and grow into a library that has to stay in step with your product catalogue. Doing that by hand in the admin does not scale, so we drive it through the API instead.
We create, clone, update and organise templates programmatically, which means a new product in your catalogue can generate its matching template, and a brand change can be pushed across every template at once rather than edited one by one. We also control template access, so a given user or account only sees the designs they are meant to.
The result is a template library that behaves like data your system owns, not a separate collection someone has to remember to maintain.
Not sure how DesignHuddle should fit your platform?
Send us the workflow you want, from where the editor loads to how artwork reaches your production or order system. We will tell you honestly what the API supports and what it would take to build.
WooCommerce product personalisation
For stores selling personalised products, we add a DesignHuddle editor directly to your WooCommerce product pages. A customer designs their item in the browser, and when they add it to the basket the artwork is exported and attached to the order, so your fulfilment team receives a print-ready file alongside the usual order details.
We wire this into the WooCommerce order lifecycle rather than treating it as a bolt-on, which keeps personalisation, pricing and the cart behaving consistently. This work sits comfortably alongside our wider WooCommerce development, so the editor is one part of a store that behaves properly end to end.
The aim is a buying flow where the design step feels like a natural part of the product page, and where nobody in your team has to chase a customer for their artwork after the fact.
User provisioning and brand kits
When a new customer or staff member joins your platform, we provision them in DesignHuddle automatically through the API, with the templates, permissions and brand kit they should have. There is no manual account setup and no gap where someone logs in to an empty editor.
Brand kits are pushed the same way. Approved fonts, colours and logos are applied to each account so every design starts on-brand, while still leaving room for the personalisation your users are allowed to make. You define the limits, and the editor enforces them.
For platforms where this provisioning is part of a larger membership or account system, it slots into the wider portal and platform development we do, so DesignHuddle accounts stay in sync with your own user records rather than drifting out of step.
Export, print-ready files and fulfilment
A finished design is only useful once it becomes a file your process can use. When a user completes a design, we trigger an export job through the API and produce a print-ready PDF or a high-resolution PNG at the specification your production or print partner needs.
Exports run asynchronously, so we handle the job status, retrieve the output when it is ready, and hand it to the next system rather than leaving it sitting in DesignHuddle. That output can attach to an order, drop into a storage location, or push straight into a production queue.
Where the finished file has to feed several systems or kick off a longer sequence of steps, this connects naturally to our business automation work, so the design stage and the order or fulfilment stage behave as one continuous flow.
