Trade Orders Into Linnworks, Without The Typing

Linnworks brings in orders from the sales channels it connects to, such as Amazon, eBay, OnBuy and your web store. It does not read a purchase order a wholesale customer emails you, because that never touches a channel.

That is the part we automate. Emailed and attached trade orders are read and created in Linnworks as open orders, so they sit in the same queue as your channel volume rather than in an inbox waiting to be typed up.

PDF purchase orders across many different layouts, CSV and Excel files, Word documents, and orders written straight into the body of an email. We train the reading on the actual formats your customers send, so it copes with the mixture rather than one clean template.

It extracts the account, the purchase order reference, the delivery address, and every line of products, quantities, prices and requested dates.

Validated orders are written into Linnworks through its API as open orders, with the correct order source, sub-source and fulfilment location set. They arrive ready for your normal picking and despatch, indistinguishable from a channel order at the fulfilment stage.

We build against the live Linnworks API in staging first, so behaviour in production matches what we tested.

Often, yes. Many Linnworks users route trade orders through a Shopify store purely so they sync into Linnworks for fulfilment, and pay a transaction fee on each one.

Creating the order in Linnworks directly means the storefront is no longer needed for that purpose, so both the retyping and the fee can go.

Every line is mapped from the customer's part number to your Linnworks SKU, and any line that cannot be matched confidently is flagged rather than guessed. Prices are validated against the customer's agreed terms, and duplicate purchase order references are detected before they become duplicate despatches.

Anything uncertain waits in a review screen, where your team can correct and release it in a couple of clicks.

Trade orders pass through the review queue first, so a person signs off each one while we tune the reading on your real orders. Nothing posts to Linnworks unchecked during this phase.

Once accuracy is consistently high, you switch on automatic creation for orders that meet your confidence rules, and keep human review only for the exceptions.
