Unleashed is only as accurate as the orders that reach it, and in a wholesale business a lot of orders arrive as emailed purchase orders that a person has to price and allocate before Unleashed sees them. Here is how we automate that, with the two things wholesale gets wrong most often, pricing and warehouse allocation, handled deliberately.
Why manual wholesale entry costs you twice
Every emailed purchase order that gets keyed into Unleashed by hand carries two risks that direct-to-consumer orders simply do not. The first is price: a buyer's document might show a figure that does not match the tier that customer is actually on, and if it is entered as-is you undercharge. The second is allocation: pick the wrong warehouse and stock is committed somewhere it cannot ship from.
Both are quiet and both add up, one as credit notes and margin leakage, the other as delayed despatches and inaccurate availability. Automating the entry removes the rekeying and, more importantly, applies the correct pricing and allocation every time.
