Send the tender documents and we complete them properly, to your format and your deadline, covering approach, team, experience, pricing and the operational questions.
The Right Platform, Not Just Ours

Fixed Pricing Against Scope
We price against a defined scope so bids are comparable and the budget holds. The figure in the tender is the figure you pay.
UK Team, Delivered In-House
A named team in the UK stands behind the response. Nothing is passed to subcontractors, so delivery does not depend on one person's diary.
You Own Everything
The code, the hosting and the accounts are handed over with documentation. No licences tie you to us after award.
Accessibility, Security and Support
We build to recognised accessibility standards, handle security and data properly, and offer maintenance so the site is looked after once it is live.

Frequently Asked Questions
Inviting a Web Agency to Tender
If you are shortlisting suppliers for a website project, the questions worth answering early are the same ones a tender is built around: who will do the work, whether the platform is the right one, whether the price and timeline are dependable, how the site holds up after handover, and who owns it at the end. Here is how we answer them.
Who we tender for, and who we do not
We respond to website tenders from UK businesses, public sector bodies, education providers, membership organisations and charities, as well as from agencies bidding for or delivering web work under their own brand. What we do not do is bid for everything that lands. If a requirement is outside what we are genuinely good at, or a better fit for a different kind of supplier, we will say so quickly so you are not holding a slot open for a bid that was never serious.
That honesty is the point of a shortlist. A supplier who only responds when it is a real fit is easier to evaluate than one whose bids all look the same. The full picture of how we build is set out on our website design and development page.
The right platform, not just the one we prefer
A lot of web tenders are decided on the platform before anyone has asked whether it is the right one. We build on custom WordPress where a content site needs to be genuinely ownable and editable, on Laravel where a project is really an application with users, permissions and workflows, and on Shopify where a store belongs there. We recommend the platform in our response and explain the reasoning rather than defaulting to whichever one we happen to like.
Where the requirement is a content and marketing site, that is usually our WordPress development agency work. Where it is closer to software, it is portal and platform development built on Laravel. Naming the right platform, and being honest when a project is on the line between two of them, saves everyone a procurement round later.
What a response from us contains
A tender response should answer the question that was asked, in the order it was asked, with evidence behind each claim. Ours covers the technical approach and platform choice, the team who will deliver it, recent and relevant examples of comparable work, a clear breakdown of cost and timeline, and the operational sections a tender usually includes around accessibility, security, data protection and ongoing support.
Where a tender asks for supporting material, we provide what is requested rather than a generic capability pack stapled to the front. If your process runs through a procurement portal with its own templates and deadlines, we work to those rather than to ours.
Still at the market engagement stage?
You do not need a finished tender pack to talk to us. Send what you have, even a rough outline, and we will tell you plainly whether it is something we would bid for and roughly what it would involve.
Fixed pricing, so bids stay comparable
Fixed pricing matters more in a tender than almost anywhere else, because it is what makes competing bids comparable and what protects the budget once the work starts. We price against a defined scope rather than an open-ended day rate, which means the figure in our response is the figure you pay, not an estimate that drifts once the build is underway.
We scope the functionality properly before we price it, and we flag anything that needs a decision before it becomes expensive. The timeline is given alongside the cost, and if something is going to move it, you hear that early rather than at the point it already has.
How the site holds up after handover
On a tendered project in particular, the supplier who builds the site is often not the one maintaining it a few years later, so the build has to stand on its own. We write clean, documented code another developer can read, keep dependencies to what the site actually needs, and set the content management up around the way the team will really use it rather than exposing every option.
That matters whatever the platform. A build that is quick to deliver but awkward to live with is a false economy, and it is usually the reason a site comes back out to tender sooner than it should.
Accessibility, security and data protection
Public sector and education tenders almost always carry accessibility, security and data protection requirements, and they are reasonable to ask of any build. We build to recognised accessibility standards rather than retrofitting them, keep dependencies current, and handle personal data and cookie consent and GDPR setup properly rather than dropping in a banner that blocks nothing.
We answer the specific questions a tender raises on each of these rather than waving them through, and where a connection to another system is part of the requirement, we build it directly against each vendor's own API rather than relying on automation tools that fail quietly.
Support after award
Most website tenders include a support and maintenance requirement, and with good reason: a site changes shape after launch as software updates and the organisation asks for changes. Left alone, that is how a site drifts into being slow or insecure, usually noticed at the worst moment.
We can hand a site over cleanly and step away, or stay on through website support retainers covering updates, monitoring, backups and a set amount of development time each month, so there is a developer to call rather than a scramble when something breaks.
If you are an agency bidding for the work
Not every tender respondent is the end client. Agencies that win or bid for website projects, but do not want to carry permanent development staff, use us as their build team. The arrangement is set out on our white label web development page: we deliver invisibly, the client relationship stays entirely yours, and the technical standards are identical to our direct work.
That holds across platforms, whether the tendered project turns out to be WordPress, a Laravel application or a Shopify store. We will tell you which it should be, and deliver it under your name if that is how the engagement works.
